There are several bookings statuses on the Impala Booking.
When you make a booking on the API, the first status that will appear is “Pending” until we receive the hotel’s confirmation details. Once we have received those, the booking will move to “Accepted” and you will also see the hotel’s confirmation code on the API.
There are additional booking statuses that you will find on the API and these indicate the following:
- CANCELLED: the booking will automatically move to this status if the guest chooses to cancel the booking and you have made the API call to delete this booking
- COMPLETED: the booking will automatically move to this status on the day of check-out
- NO_SHOW: this is a status that would be manually set by Impala if the hotel notifies us that the guest did not check-in on their arrival date
