What are Preference Lists?
You can use Preference Lists to manage who can sell your hotel through Impala. Preference Lists can be created for all your hotels, or tailored specifically to each one. They can be switched on and off easily, keeping you in control of your presence on Impala.
Preference Lists are only available to Admin users.
How do I create a Preference List?
You’ll find the Preference List function inside the ‘Partners’ tab of the Impala Dashboard. Once there, select the ‘Manage my preference list’ button at the top of the page.
From here you’ll be able to see a list of all the hotels you’ve had assigned to you. By default your hotels are open for bookings from any Partner on Impala.
To change this you can either assign Partners per hotel, or to all hotels at once.
Adding a partner to a Preference List
To add a partner to a Preference List, tap the 'Add' button beside the hotel you want to add them to. This will open a dropdown where you can search for all partners on Impala. If a partner hasn't completed their profile they won't show here.
How do I manage my Preference Lists?
Once you’ve created a Preference List you can quickly remove a partner by selecting the ‘X’ button on the side of their pill.
If you want to switch a Preference List off, select the toggle button under the ‘Status’ column. This won’t remove any of the partners in that list, and you can easily switch it back on again whenever you need to.
What happens when I’m ready to stop using them?
If you’re ready to open one or all your hotels up to all the partners on Impala, just switch off your lists using the process above.
